What kind of retrofit projects do you handle?
Retrofit is a core part of our work – mechanical and electrical. Examples from our work: a major retrofit of an extraction system at a university hospital, including control system conversion and mechanical retrofit; a mechanical retrofit on an EMAG Trio machine including ball screw replacement and recommissioning; and a retrofit of a Schmid Cleantech deburring and cleaning system where all axes were removed and wear parts replaced.
What happens when a machine stops unexpectedly?
Fast fault analysis and professional on-site repair are what matter then. Example: on a 5-axis machining center, we repaired the A-axis clamps after an unplanned shutdown – focused on getting the machine back into production quickly.
Do you also service cleaning and deburring systems?
Yes – this is one of our focus areas. In addition to ongoing service and planned on-site maintenance, we also carry out major retrofit projects – e.g. on Schmid Cleantech systems or with maintenance of components such as Hammelmann high-pressure pumps.
Which machines and manufacturers do you have experience with?
We work across manufacturers – on machine tools from various builders, Schmid Cleantech and Piller Entgrattechnik systems, and peripheral equipment such as extraction systems. Typical assignments range from ball screw and axis overhaul to control retrofits and recommissioning after retrofit.
What is your service area?
We are based in Renningen, Baden-Württemberg. From there we work across Germany and internationally – depending on the project and urgency, directly at your machine or system.
